In early 2014, UCLA Health founded the Global Innovation Lab. Its mission: accelerate and spread healthcare innovations by curating innovations and sharing them with healthcare providers worldwide. UCLA Health asked the Iteration Group team to lead the UX strategy, UX design, and custom web development of the Global Lab web site and sharing platform.
The Iteration Group team led the product strategy, design, and development of a full-featured group buying platform, built to power daily deal and private sale businesses. The platform is fully customizable, available hosted or deployed, and built to scale to tens of millions of users.
Onramp specializes in secure and HIPAA compliant managed hosting. The company asked us to help them design and build a client onboarding portal that “holds the hand” of the new Onramp client and helps ensure that their systems and HIPAA compliant (involving a Risk Assessment, System Characterization, Risk Quantification, Recommended Customer Policies, and a Business Associate Agreement).
Yoi makes onboarding, training, and performance evaluation easier for HR departments and managers. The company asked Iteration Group to lead conversations around product strategy, product design, and more. Our team designed and built several product concepts and prototypes and helped the company assess product-market fit.
Jolt Delivery is an early-stage startup that delivers takeout orders on behalf of its restaurant clients (nearly 100 as of October 2015). The company asked the Iteration Group team to lead in the design and development of its technology platform that enables restaurants to manage the incoming orders, dispatch a driver, collect payment, and much more.
BugCam, a Windows app designed by the Iteration Group team, makes it easy for developers to add screen capture video to their bug reports. The software integrates with Bugzilla, FogBugz, Gemini, Jira, Redmine, Mantis, Trac, and other leading bug-tracking tools. A short video about the product can be viewed here.
Zumbox is a startup that enables postal mail to be delivered online. The company created an electronic mailbox for each physical street address in the United States (Ex: “123 Main St, Anyplace TX, 75082”) – 150 million such mailboxes in total. The Iteration Group team led the product strategy, user experience design, and visual design of the entire platform (which was later licensed to postal operators around the world).
RocketMenu is a tool, designed and built for Windows by the Iteration Group team, which extends the features and functionality of any app on the screen. Users can highlight a word with their mouse to reveal a handful of context-sensitive features (Pronounce, Translate, Search Google, and more).
